What next?

Who will write curriculum next year?
I vote for all 6-12 content classes that have recent standards - K. Stevens
I think if we could at least get a couple of more teachers per department per building that would be great. -P.Sampson
I'm concerned that we need to be very careful about making sure that whoever writes curriculum is on board with standards-based curriculum and knows the UBD process.
How do we spread this to other teachers? - see discussion post - where is this? - click the thing that looks like conversation bubbles at the top right of the screen and has a 1. WHAT thing on the top right? No discussion bubbles there! It is right next to the edit button.

How do we make these "living documents" that are used purposefully?
have department meetings look at these maybe 3-4 times a year. - K. Stevens

Who will oversee this work?
Dpt. Heads - K. Stevens

How and when will all administrators be included?

What changes do we want to make to the current template?
The three high school English teachers will be taking half a day to make sure we are consistent - we may come up with changes at that time. K Stevens

Anyone have any answers?

Solution to the scanning issue - if you have a iphone or ipad - the app genius scan allows you to take a picture of a document, format it so it looks nice and convert it to a PDF

I have a quote from ATLAS of $6750. for us to have 60% of the staff on ATLAS for next year. Are we ready for 60%?

YES! We should decide soon who they are and who will train them and plan to do it early in Sept. --PSampson

I'll be talking to Gina at ATLAS on Thursday morning to talk about chnages we want to make to the template. We agreed to eliminate the drop down for Learning Activities but is there anything else we want to change?

See the discussion post about the drop down menu.--P. Sampson
